The Art Walk of Tree Sculptures carries over 35 carved pieces along Broadway and through downtown Orangeville, with a self-guided digital tour from the Town. Orangeville was named for Orange Lawrence in 1863 and the railway arrived in April 1871 — making the town a divisional point on the Toronto, Grey & Bruce within months of opening.

The brief.
The Art Walk and the Victorian-era main street are the central in-town heritage draws — both walkable in a downtown loop in 60–90 minutes. The self-guided digital tour for the sculptures is available from the Town of Orangeville website.
The Mantis Queen, a 7-metre interactive sculpture, is the largest single piece in the public-art collection and sits within the Town's broader 35-piece tree-sculpture program. The Indigenous Medicine Wheel Garden gives a reflection space on Treaty 18 (Lake Simcoe-Nottawasaga) and Treaty 19 (Ajetance Purchase) territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit; the Town's land acknowledgement also names the Williams Treaty Nations and the traditional territory of the Wendat and Haudenosaunee in Dufferin County.
Year-round access; nothing seasonal about the downtown walk.
