Woodland Camp Site
01 — About

The brief.

Woodland Camp Site is a family-operated lakefront campground on Buckhorn Lake in the Kawarthas, in business at 209 Allens Road, Lakehurst since 1961. The property carries 130 seasonal sites and 45 transient sites across wooded, lakeview, and lakefront blocks, with a sandy beach, swim platform, and on-site canoe, kayak, and paddle boat rentals. Buckhorn Lake — part of the Trent-Severn waterway — holds walleye, bass, muskie, and pan fish, and the campground's boat launch gives seasonal and transient guests free access to the lake. Day-use boat-launch access is available to non-guests for a per-use fee. The campground operates from Victoria Day weekend through Thanksgiving weekend each year.
