Mountain View Stables is a horseback-riding operation at 302 Grey Road 21 in the Town of the Blue Mountains, Ontario, set on more than 180 acres of woodland and pasture at the base of Blue Mountain Resort — about 25 minutes east of Meaford and 13 minutes east of Thornbury. The operator runs guided one-hour trail rides year-round through meadows, forested areas, and streams with views of the escarpment, plus two-hour trail rides for experienced riders on weekday outside the winter season. Riding lessons cover beginner through advanced levels, and the facility offers horse boarding. Trail-ride requirements are age 12+, a maximum weight of 280 lbs, closed-toed shoes with a half-inch heel, long pants, and helmets. The site also hosts Companions for Life K-9 Training Services as a partner.
