Hockley Valley Farm sits on more than 90 acres of forest, trails and the Nottawasaga River near Mono, Ontario. A restored bank barn anchors the property, which opens seasonally each November. Visitors come to choose or cut their own premium fir Christmas trees, take horse-drawn wagon and sleigh rides, and gather around the bonfire with hot chocolate. The fields and postcard-worthy views also make the farm a destination for family, wedding and nature photography. A Christmas store stocks handmade gifts and decor from local artisans, and the barn and grounds are available to rent for private events. Proceeds from hot chocolate are donated to local charities.
