Georgian Bay Sailing Coach
01 — About

The brief.

Georgian Bay Sailing Coach is a one-person sail-training operation run by Collin Young out of Meaford Harbour (slip B44) on the south shore of Georgian Bay. Instruction is delivered either aboard the client's own boat or aboard the coach's keelboat Tegan, and blends online theory with on-water practice. The curriculum is structured around Sail Canada standards and NauticEd, and covers skill clinics (docking under power, sail handling, anchoring, crew overboard, night sailing, heavy weather, navigation) plus certification tracks for Skipper Large Keelboat, Bareboat Charter Master, the International Sailing Licence (SLC) used for Mediterranean charters, and the ROC(M) VHF/DSC marine radio operator certificate.
