Deltawood Farm is a Quarter Horse boarding stable and riding operation at 1648 County Rd 42 in Delta, Ontario, in the Rideau Lakes region of Eastern Ontario — equidistant from Kingston, Brockville, and Smiths Falls, and minutes from Lyndhurst and Athens. The property holds 26 acres of pasture, 60 acres of wooded on-site trails with access to Lower Beverly Lake and the Cataraqui Trail, a lighted 120' × 90' outdoor arena, and a 60-foot round pen. Public-facing offerings are hourly trail rides and 30-minute paddock rides for children, both running May through December by appointment, plus Canadian Horseman Association–certified Western and English riding lessons for ages 5 to adult. Indoor and outdoor monthly boarding is available for horse owners.

Paddock Ride (Children 5–9)
For: Children ages 5 to 9 (the age group below the trail-ride cutoff)When: By appointment, May through December (weather and terrain permitting)A 30-minute paddock ride for children too young for the main trail ride, which has a 10-and-up minimum. Sessions are booked by appointment within the same May-through-December operating window as trail riding, weather and terrain permitting. Helmets and closed-toe boots with at least a one-inch heel are required; loaner footwear is available. Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Riding Lessons
For: Ages 5 to adult, beginner to intermediateWhen: Contact for detailsWestern or English instruction taught by a Canadian Horseman Association (CHA)–certified equitation coach. Each session covers barn etiquette, grooming, horse awareness, tacking, riding, cool-down, and untacking — with an emphasis on safety and confidence. Lessons take place in the lighted 120' × 90' outdoor arena and 60-foot round pen.
$65/hour private; $50/hour per rider semi-private (2 riders); $40/hour per rider group (3–4 riders) — tax included; sold in monthly packages of four lessons

Outdoor Boarding
For: Horse ownersWhen: Year-roundOutdoor boarding includes shelters, hay, heated water in winter, summer pastures, safe electric fencing, and access to the 90' × 120' outside riding ring and on-site trail network. Owners supply their own blankets and supplements; they may use their preferred farrier or veterinarian, or the farm's partner, St. Lawrence Veterinary Services (Prescott, Ontario). Optional nightly indoor boarding is available at $10 per night.

Indoor Boarding (with Box Stall)
For: Horse ownersWhen: Year-roundIndoor boarding includes use of an indoor box stall plus everything in outdoor board. Horses occupy stalls overnight during severe weather; additional nightly stays cost extra. Farrier services are available at $50 plus tax per horse every six weeks (subject to change).

Horse Leasing
Seven horses are available for monthly lease at $300/month each — four registered Quarter Horses (Angel, Hickory, Jazz, Sonny), one Paint mare (Jewel), one Lake Lacroix Indian Pony (Crescent Moon / "Cressie"), and one smokey palomino pony (Susie). Profiles, ages, and temperament/training notes are published on the operator's site.
