Camp Adelaide
01 — About

The brief.

Camp Adelaide is a glamping and cottage retreat on 360 acres of forests and grass fields beside Black Lake, off Highway 118 in Haliburton, Ontario. Ten named units span four formats: Sunrise and Forest geodesic domes, lake-facing bubble domes with pellet stoves and diesel heaters, two seasonal glamping tents, and four cottages ranging from the lakeside Boat House to Casa Mia 1, a 24-guest single-level lodge whose lobby seats parties of 50. Combined with Edelweiss House, the property hosts events up to 60 people. Glamping tents and the Forest Geodesic Dome close in winter; bubble domes, Sunrise Domes, and the cottages operate year-round. On-water activity runs July through September.
