Anemki Wajiw — Mount McKay — is the sacred mountain of Fort William First Nation, used for ceremonies, feasts, teachings, and the FWFN annual powwow; the eastern-plateau lookout sits at roughly 300 m elevation overlooking Thunder Bay and Lake Superior. Visitor access is governed by FWFN: field-trip access is administered through the FWFN Culture and Recreation department and sacred-site protocols apply around active ceremonies.
