Sailing & Boating.

Lake St. Lawrence is the boating water — Seaway-pool depth and width with launch access from the Long Sault Parkway boat launches.

The full-service marina end of the upper-Seaway boating product (Crysler Park Marina with transient slips and fuel) is in adjacent South Dundas, so a launch-and-day pattern from the parkway pairs naturally with a downriver dock visit.

01 — What to know

The brief.

The Seaway navigation channel carries shipping traffic; pleasure-craft operation respects the published navigation rules and stays clear of commercial channel use. The parkway-island launches give recreational access to the pool, and the depth and width are substantial — Lake St.

Lawrence is a Seaway impoundment, not a small inland lake. Iroquois Lock (the regulating lock on the Canadian side of the upper Seaway) is downriver in adjacent South Dundas; pleasure craft transiting the upper Seaway between the parkway pool and downstream waters use the lock under its published schedule and fee.
