Eastern Ontario Trails Alliance's ATV trail network connects Limerick Township to a regional system running from the Bay of Quinte all the way north to Algonquin Park. Highway 62 between Madoc and Bancroft is the township's road spine — a Shield-country drive past the Old Hastings Mercantile in Ormsby and the lake chain through St.
Ola and Gilmour.

ATV passes for the EOTA system are $25 daily, $75 weekly, and $150 annual, sold online or at vendors throughout the region (the EOTA office in Tweed and other points across Hastings County). Limerick sits in the middle of the trail system, with named lodge access points on Limerick Lake.
Highway 62 is the scenic-drive option — paved north–south through the township, with fall colours peaking through late September into mid-October. Ormsby's village core is a recognized stop along the corridor, with the 1880s Old Hastings Mercantile & Gallery functioning as the local heritage anchor.
EOTA ATV use is restricted during snow grooming periods (tracks-only); the trail network is shared with snowmobile use through winter and reverts to ATV every spring.
