Mountain Biking.

Limberlost Forest's multi-use trail network — published as a Trailforks region — runs across the same 70+ kilometres that carry hiking and skiing, on the same online safety-waiver public-access model. Most of the system is rideable cross-country, and the network's spread across 10,000+ acres makes Limberlost the substantive in-township MTB anchor.

01 — What to know

The brief.

Limberlost is multi-use first and MTB second — purpose-built singletrack at the Bracebridge Resource Management Centre is the regional destination if that's what you're after. Limberlost's appeal is the scale and the variety: you can string a long XC ride across the network's 12 principal trails and the link trails between them.

The waiver-access model and the daily 9 a.m.–5 p.m. operating window apply year-round, and dogs are welcome on leash if you're riding with a partner who's running.
