Walking & Strolling.

Hungry Hollow Trail is the spine of Georgetown's walking network, following Silver Creek through the valley between Cedarvale Park and the residential blocks on either side. The trail is paved-and-gravel, family-friendly, and connects neighbourhoods to the heritage commercial frontage on Main Street and the Credit River bend at Glen Williams a short distance west.

Walking & Strolling in Halton Hills
01 — What to know

The brief.

The Halton Hills walking surface is split between three downtowns and several village cores. Georgetown's Main Street and the Hungry Hollow valley are the busiest; Glen Williams' mill village walk loops Williams Mill Creative Arts and the Credit River; Acton's Mill Street and Fairy Lake Park anchor the smaller eastern downtown; Norval, on the Credit River between Georgetown and Brampton, carries the Lucy Maud Montgomery Manse association.

Sidewalks are continuous through downtown cores; the Hungry Hollow valley path is a standalone trail. Year-round access; April through November is the easiest window for the unpaved valley sections.
