AER is a discovery platform for outdoor recreation in Ontario, Canada. Each region has a "field guide" covering activities, named places, real-time conditions (air quality, daylight, weather), and curated local operators. Every notable place and rule links back to its original source.

## Editorial principles

- Every claim about a place or rule links to its primary source (parks-canada, conservation authorities, official municipal pages, operator websites).
- Real-time conditions come from Open-Meteo (weather, daylight) and a computed Canadian AQHI from raw pollutant levels.
- No tracking — the home-page conditions widget uses the visitor's coordinates client-side and never sends them to AER's servers.
